We pleased to present the winning artwork for the 2025 DSB1 Holiday Card Contest!

Created by a student attending R. Ross Beattie Public School, this design will proudly be featured on the cover of our 2025 DSB1 holiday card and widely distributed across our communities during the month of December and beyond.

World Kindness Day

Students at Federal Public School took on an initiative where they decorated sleeves for hot drinks with positive messages and messages of kindness. One of the local Tim Hortons locations is handing them out with hot drinks for World Kindness Day.

Located within the Federal subdivision of Kirkland Lake, Federal Public School offers an English language program for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Six.  Along with our strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy, Federal Public School offers a range of programs and services for its children, including a breakfast snack program daily for all children.
